Find Organic Growth Across Your Healthcare Portfolio

Before adding locations or providers, look at the care your practices already ordered, referred and recalled. Nuvory finds it, measures it against one baseline, and gives local teams the list to act on.

What is revenue intelligence for PE-backed practices?

Revenue intelligence for PE-backed practices is healthcare revenue leakage intelligence across a portfolio. It measures how much ordered, referred and recalled care in portfolio practices never became completed care, using one consistent definition and a baseline per practice. Nuvory reads each practice's EHR nightly, ranks open items for local staff, and reports care completed after detection against baseline. It identifies potential revenue opportunities; it does not promise financial returns.

Why is organic growth hard to measure across a portfolio?

It is hard because acquired practices rarely measure the same things the same way. Each one arrives with its own EHR, its own referral habits and its own recall discipline.

Platforms often focus on same-store growth in healthcare practices through new providers, new locations and payer contracts. Those levers matter. But a separate source of organic volume sits inside every practice already: patients who were referred, ordered a procedure or given a recall date and never came back. That volume is rarely measured because it does not appear in standard financial reports.

  • Inconsistent definitions Each practice counts referrals, orders and recalls differently.
  • Different EHRs Acquired practices often keep their systems for a while.
  • Financial reports show outcomes, not misses Collections do not show the colonoscopy that never happened.
  • Local teams stretched Integration work competes with daily follow-through.

We will show how per-practice baselines roll up for a platform.

How does Nuvory fit a PE-backed platform?

Nuvory is an operating tool, not a reporting overlay. It gives platform leadership comparable revenue leakage figures for every practice and gives each practice a ranked list of patients to contact.

The platform team sees open and recovered value by practice, location and service line, each against its own baseline. Practice staff see names, reasons and next actions, and book in their own EHR.

What does leadership see?

Estimated open value, conversion and completion trends, and recovered value against baseline. On the Enterprise plan, Network Intelligence shows where patients go for care you offer.

What do practices do?

Work patient opportunity lists daily: one person, one task per patient, ranked by estimated value, urgency and confidence.

How should a platform think about recovered value?

Carefully. Nuvory reports recovered value as care completed after detection compared with a baseline. That shows correlation with outreach, not proof that outreach caused the visit.

Nuvory does not promise a return, a revenue figure or reimbursement. It identifies potential revenue opportunities based on available data, with estimated values. Clinicians make clinical decisions, and nothing in care management is enrolled without clinician approval and patient consent. Any illustrative math you see in a demo uses round example inputs, not projections for your portfolio.

We will walk through per-practice baselines and how local teams work the list.

Who is involved?

  • Operating partner or platform COO Sets definitions and reviews results against baselines.
  • Platform finance and revenue cycle Read open and recovered value; optional claims feeds sharpen completion matching.
  • Practice administrators Run daily huddles from open items.
  • Schedulers and referral coordinators Work ranked lists and book in the local EHR.
  • Clinical leaders Sign off rules after spot-checking real patients.

How does rollout work across a portfolio?

Rollout can happen in waves. Timeline is confirmed during discovery.

  1. Prioritize practicesStart where the EHR is in scope and local leadership is ready.
  2. ConnectEach practice's EHR administrator approves the connection. See integrations.
  3. Load and baselineHealthArc loads about two years of history and builds a baseline per practice.
  4. Sign off rulesA clinical reviewer at each practice, or a platform clinical lead, signs off rules.
  5. Work the listsPractices work ranked lists; the platform reviews trends.
  6. Add newly acquired practicesEach new practice gets its own baseline before go-live.

What should a platform measure?

Use measures that compare practices fairly. Recovered value is correlation against baseline, not causation.

MeasureWhat it tells you
Referral-to-visit conversionWhether earned referrals become patients
Open procedure orders by ageProcedure volume still pending
Recall complianceFollow-through on surveillance and chronic care
Cancelled procedures rebookedWhether lost slots are recovered
Recovered value vs baselineCare completed after detection, per practice

Can Nuvory be used in diligence or integration?

The natural fit is after close, during integration. Nuvory needs an approved connection to a practice's EHR and a BAA, so any use before close depends on the practice's own agreement and its EHR administrator's approval. It is not a tool for reviewing a target's patient data without that.

During integration, Nuvory gives newly joined practices a consistent definition of leakage and a baseline from day one. Multi-EHR coverage is part of the Enterprise plan; see pricing. athenahealth is live, and other EHRs such as Epic and ModMed are supported with scope confirmed during discovery.

What should a platform evaluate?

  • Consistent definitions across EHRs Does an overdue recall mean the same thing everywhere?
  • Baseline per practice Can you compare practices that started in different places?
  • Honest value reporting Is recovered value labeled as correlation?
  • Local adoption Will front desks actually work the list?
  • Security posture BAA, SOC 2 Type II report on HealthArc's platform, per-practice isolation. See security.

Questions, answered

More in our FAQ, or ask our team.

Does Nuvory promise a specific return?

No. Nuvory identifies potential revenue opportunities with estimated values and reports care completed after detection against a baseline. That is correlation with outreach, not proof of cause, and not a financial projection.

How is recovered value measured across a portfolio?

Each practice gets its own baseline from about two years of its own history. Nuvory reports care completed after detection against that baseline, per practice, and the platform team sees results by practice, location and service line. It shows correlation with outreach, not proof of cause.

How do newly acquired practices join?

Each practice's EHR administrator approves the connection, HealthArc loads about two years of history, maps codes and builds a baseline, and a clinical reviewer signs off rules.

Is this useful during diligence?

Only with the practice's agreement, a BAA and an approved EHR connection. The clearer fit is after close, to set a baseline during integration.

Does Nuvory replace our RCM or BI tools?

No. Nuvory is not an RCM replacement or a generic analytics tool. It identifies leakage at the patient level and works alongside existing systems.
