AdvancedMD Revenue Intelligence That Checks Billing for Completed Care
AdvancedMD combines EHR and practice management, so Nuvory can often read clinical, scheduling and billing data from one connection and confirm which open items were actually completed.
What is AdvancedMD revenue intelligence?
AdvancedMD revenue intelligence is checking orders, referrals and follow-ups in AdvancedMD against scheduling and billing activity to find care that never happened. Nuvory, healthcare revenue leakage intelligence from HealthArc, is designed to work with AdvancedMD's FHIR APIs for clinical data, alongside scheduling and billing data from AdvancedMD practice management. Both can often come from one connection. Scope is confirmed during discovery.
Why does billing data matter for completion?
Billing data is a second signal that care happened. When an order is followed by a matching charge, Nuvory can close the item with more confidence. That keeps the list short and avoids calling a patient who already had the test.
Nuvory uses billing data only for that check, as one part of tracking unresolved orders to completion. It does not submit claims, work denials or replace your revenue cycle workflow, so it sits beside billing rather than inside it.

Where do lean AdvancedMD practices lose patients?
In follow-through. Many AdvancedMD practices run lean, so the same person checks in patients, answers phones and works referrals. When the day gets busy, the call back to a referred patient, the rebooking after a cancellation and the reminder for last month's test are what slip.
- Referrals waiting Inbound referrals with no first call.
- Cancellations Procedures cancelled with no new date after 2 days; visits after 7.
- Orders with no charge Tests and procedures ordered with no scheduled, completed or billed match.
- Checkout returns Return visits requested at checkout that never got booked.
Which AdvancedMD data does Nuvory read?
Clinical data through FHIR R4 APIs; scheduling and billing data from AdvancedMD practice management; bulk export where enabled.
| Data | Source | What Nuvory uses it for |
|---|---|---|
| Patients | FHIR Patient | Identity and contact details |
| Visits | FHIR Encounter | Completed visits |

How is an AdvancedMD practice set up?

Which practices on AdvancedMD benefit most?
Pain management, orthopedics and primary care practices often use the billing check to close completed procedures and follow-ups. Staff still schedule in AdvancedMD; Nuvory never books on its own.
Small practices comparing EHR options sometimes also look at Practice Fusion, where Nuvory's scope covers patients, appointments, encounters and conditions, so completion there relies on encounters and staff notes. Data protection, including the business associate agreement, is covered on our security page.
