Practice Fusion Revenue Intelligence for Small Practices Without a Recall Team
Nuvory is designed to read four things from Practice Fusion: patients, appointments, encounters and conditions. From those it finds who is overdue, who missed a visit and never rebooked, and who to call first.
What is Practice Fusion revenue intelligence?
Practice Fusion revenue intelligence is using the patient, appointment, encounter and condition data in Practice Fusion to find patients who are overdue or never came back, then ranking who to call. Nuvory, healthcare revenue leakage intelligence from HealthArc, is designed to work with Practice Fusion through its certified FHIR R4 APIs, with bulk export where enabled. Scope is confirmed during discovery.
What can Nuvory read from Practice Fusion?
Nuvory's Practice Fusion scope covers four core resources from its certified FHIR R4 APIs. Anything beyond them is used only if it is available for your practice, which is confirmed during discovery.
| Data | FHIR resource | What it lets Nuvory find |
|---|---|---|
| Patients | Patient | Who to contact, and how |
| Appointments | Appointment | No-shows and cancellations with no new date |
| Encounters | Encounter | When each patient was last seen |
| Conditions | Condition | Chronic patients past the visit interval your clinicians track |
| History | Bulk export, where enabled | The baseline that recovered visits are compared with |
What does that data show a small practice?
Mostly patients who simply stopped coming. In a small practice there is rarely a recall coordinator; the front desk handles phones, check-in and insurance, and outreach happens when someone has a spare hour. Last-seen dates and chronic conditions are enough to find most of these patients. If you are weighing tools, read recall software vs reminder software.
- Chronic patients gone quiet Diabetes, hypertension and other chronic patients whose last encounter is older than the interval your clinicians set.
- Missed visits No-shows and cancellations with no new date after 7 days, configurable.
- Care-management candidates Patients who may be potentially eligible for programs, routed to clinician review.

Which Nuvory modules fit Practice Fusion data?
Practice Fusion analytics usually means a report. These modules produce a list one person can finish.

Learn moreScheduling Intelligence
Missed visits that never got a new date. On Growth.
Learn moreCare Management Intelligence
Candidates for clinician review; nothing is enrolled without approval and consent. On Growth.
Learn moreOpportunity Intelligence
One ranked list of who to call first. On Growth.
Learn moreCan Nuvory track referrals in Practice Fusion?
Only where referral data is available through the APIs for your practice. Practice Fusion referral tracking is confirmed during discovery before any referral rule goes live; if the data is not there, the practice starts with recalls and missed visits instead. That is the main difference from Elation Health, where referrals are included in the data Nuvory is designed to read.
What does setup ask of a small team?
Two things: your practice details and an administrator's approval of API access. No IT staff are needed. Timeline is confirmed during discovery.
- Confirm the dataHealthArc checks which resources are available for your practice.
- Approve accessYour administrator approves API access.
- Build the baselineAbout two years of history is loaded and measured.
- Approve the rulesA clinician at your practice reviews real patients and approves each rule.
- Work the listStaff book in Practice Fusion; on Growth, they can also call from Nuvory using verified practice numbers.

Which practices on Practice Fusion use this?
Small primary care practices and single-specialty offices such as cardiology clinics, where a short list of overdue chronic patients matters more than any dashboard. Practice Fusion is a Veradigm product; larger groups on Veradigm EHR have a separate page.
Each practice's data is kept separate, encrypted and covered by a business associate agreement; see security.
