What is Veradigm revenue intelligence?

Veradigm revenue intelligence is finding the referrals, procedure orders and recalls in Veradigm EHR that never turned into completed care, then routing each to the department that owns it. Nuvory, healthcare revenue leakage intelligence from HealthArc, is designed to work with Veradigm EHR data through FHIR R4 APIs, with bulk export and SMART on FHIR launch where enabled. Data varies by product, version and configuration.

Where do referrals fall between Veradigm departments?

At the handoff. Veradigm EHR carries the ambulatory EHR line many groups knew under the Allscripts name, and each department keeps its own task lists. A referral from internal medicine to cardiology, or a procedure ordered by one provider and booked at another site, can sit with neither.

  • Internal referrals not booked Referrals between departments with no first visit.
  • Procedure orders open Procedures and tests ordered but never scheduled or completed.
  • Cancellations not rebooked Procedures and visits cancelled with no new date.
  • Recalls drifting Return intervals past due with nothing on the schedule.

How does Nuvory work alongside Veradigm EHR?

Staff keep scheduling and documenting in Veradigm EHR. Nuvory reads each night, ranks open items and checks completion on the next run. Where SMART on FHIR launch is available in your configuration, staff can open a patient's items from the chart; our guide to FHIR, bulk data and SMART on FHIR explains how that differs from a background data connection.

Multi-specialty groups with cardiology or orthopedics service lines are a common fit for procedure-order and internal-referral tracking. Practice Fusion is also a Veradigm product and has its own page; groups comparing larger ambulatory EHRs may also look at NextGen. Department-level access and audit are described on our security page.
